Alondra Carbajal

My artistic creations are an exploration of my inner emotions that are revealed onto a blank canvas. It has a main focus on the human anatomy with a mix of different color schemes that may represent compassion, mood, or just simply there to create some kind of balance within the art itself. Inside the range of my loose, abstract shapes that are produced in the background, they tend to create a figure that is placed within that certain plane to create an expression of fulfillness. My artistic abilities come from the inspiration I draw from Frida Kahlo’s Art. With her strong concentration on self portraits, I have felt a fierce connection that ideally creates the body of my art. This connection has guided me to focus on my body itself, or just basic human anatomy.
